The best part about being in the arts is living in a state of constant awe of one's peers. And, to that end, and without provocation (nor compensation), I offer you the following shameless plug for one of our own...although I'm certain he will object nonetheless:

Bravoflix's own content expert Maksim Velichkin is not only an astounding cellist, but a gifted improviser, too...on piano! If you're looking for something that bridges the gap between genres--and fuses them into a contemporary and artful reinterpretation that's refreshingly neither strictly classical nor really jazz--you might enjoy listening to his CDs. Better yet, contribute $25 to his Kickstarter campaign and you can get not only the CD, but admission to his live concert series...which are equally culturally englightening and a true taste of LA's art music underground.

We're making changes to the homepage of Bravoflix which will make it iPhone and iPad compatible soon. Presently, videos in the slider on the homepage will play fine in your Mac laptop or desktop computer. Videos in the Premium subscriber-only area of the site play on all devices. Google has digitized 12 percent of all the books EVER published. And if you haven't seen the Google Art Project, you should! You'll find you see details better than with your own eyes en plein air. I'm more confident than ever that Bravoflix is on track to be an increasingly relevant and value-added way to deepen your relationship with the arts. Human culture will always be a lived experience, but increasingly you'll be able to get a taste of it online.
