We waited a few days to find the words… still processing the weight of this devastating loss.

When we recorded Carson City, Godfather had a vision: he wanted a voice that was soulful, raw, and real. Fiji came in and—like always—blessed the track. Those ad libs? Still some of our all-time favorites.

Fiji didn’t just make music; he led a movement. He brought Island Reggae to the forefront and carved out a lane for Pasifika artists to rise and thrive.
