All you need are watercolours and a sketchbook to virtually travel the world 🌎 with me.
No passport required.

I am so proud to be a faculty member of this amazing organization. BAC offers classes for every age level and age group. What you may not know is that they also work with veterans, using art as a form of expression. They are constantly exploring new ideas and ways to bring artistic foundations to their students’ practice. Any donations you may choose to give would be profoundly appreciated 🙏

Shopping the other day at Trader Joe’s Culver City, I looked up and it’s still there. I did so many Murals in my adopted city. From L.A.X to Melissa McCathay. We may be flailing a little bit in light of this global madness but we will survive. 🥰👩‍🎨🇺🇸🇬🇧

HALLOCOVID - this is still one of my fave classes. 🎃👨🏽‍🎨👻👿🧙🏽‍♀️The kids just live it and right now anything that makes them laugh is my favorite way to teach.

This was painted by a nine year old from India 🇮🇳 💪🏼👑
Anujath Sindhu Vinayal, a class 9 schoolboy from Thrissur, depicted the unpaid work women in a painting and it’s now the cover of an important government document.
According to the New Indian Express, Minister, Thomas Isaac, mentioned Anujath’s painting titled “My Mother and Mother’s in the Neighbourhood” while presenting the budget allocation for women empowerment.
This was selected as the cover page of the Gender Budget document of the Government of Kerala for the year 2020-2021.
Anujath sadly lost his mother late last year. Art heals many wounds, what an extraordinary example of how art transcends and lifts us when we aren’t quite sure how we will find the strength. 🙏👑💪🏾❤️
