PNQ Collective

PNQ Collective PNQ "pink" Collective is an Artist collective founded by 3 cross discipline women artists producing dance, film, music and live performance.

Arianne, an LA native, had been discovering a desire to re-explore her love of movement and performance art. "I want to dance in the desert!" she exclaimed. Azure, a filmmaker and photographer living in Brooklyn, had just arrived to LA from NYC, and was itching to do creative, passionate work on the West Coast. Mayanicol was finishing her first Ep and had expressed her deep seeded desire to fuse

disciplines in an immersive show with like-minded women. From that came the beginnings of their first project, “The Howl”. Inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estés' book “Women Who Run With The Wolves”, The Howl started as a visual story board telling the story of a woman who is lost in the desert and uses dance to re-discover herself. PNQ collective has grown into a collaborative artist run collective encouraging artists regardless of gender constructs to embrace their inner divine femininity. PNQ produces films, dance productions, art installations and curates art shows.
