El Ateneo de Madrid no es solo un escenario; es un espacio donde el pensamiento y el arte se encuentran.
Ayer, bajo ese peso histórico, presentamos la Agrupación “Ateneos al Flamenco”.
No fue un evento más. Fue una reafirmación.
Compartir el escenario con Andrés Barrios, Antonio Najarro, David de Arahal, Juan Carlos Gómez y Sandra Carrasco fue, ante todo, un acto de compañerismo y de respeto por nuestra raíz.
Juntos interpretamos el flamenco que amamos: ese que no se queda en la superficie, sino que nace de una necesidad profunda.
Me sumo a este proyecto con la convicción de que el flamenco merece algo más que aplausos:
merece estudio, merece investigación y merece espacios de encuentro donde pensar su futuro.
Este es nuestro compromiso.

Yesterday, under the weight of its history, we presented the “Ateneos al Flamenco” initiative.
It was not just another event. It was a reaffirmation.
Sharing the stage with Andrés Barrios, Antonio Najarro, David de Arahal, Juan Carlos Gómez, and Sandra Carrasco was, above all, an act of camaraderie and respect for our roots.
Together, we performed the flamenco we believe in deeply: the kind that doesn’t remain on the surface, but is born from a deep necessity.
I join this project with the conviction that flamenco deserves more than applause:
it deserves study, it deserves research, and it deserves spaces where its future can be explored with depth and care.
This is our commitment.
マドリードのアテネオは、単なる舞台ではなく、思考と芸術が交差する場所です。
昨日、その歴史の重みの中で、「アテネオス・アル・フラメンコ」が発足しました。
それは単なる一つの催しではありませんでした。私たちにとっての確かな意思表明です。
アンドレス・バリオス、アントニオ・ナハロ、ダビ・デ・アラアル、フアン・カルロス・ゴメス、サンドラ・カラスコと舞台を共にできたことは、何よりも、同じ志を持つ仲間としての結びつき、そして私たちのルーツへの敬意を分かち合う時間でした。
私たちが表現したのは、心から信じているフラメンコです。表層にとどまるものではなく、内側からの必然によって生まれるフラメンコです。
私はこのプロジェクトに、フラメンコは拍手以上のものに値するという確信をもって関わっています。
それは、学びの対象であり、研究されるべきものであり、そしてその未来を見つめ、考えるための場を必要としています。
これが、私たちの揺るぎない約束です。
