My business slowly became a refuge for them — clients who’d been serviced elsewhere, walked away unsatisfied, and eventually walked away from lash extensions entirely. It took a different process for them to trust the chair again.

Here’s what artists should sit with: those women were willing to try again. They just needed something extremely different from what they’d experienced — not a better version of the same thing. For me, that was the system. Reading her face and building only what enhances it, never what overpowers it.
