In August 2021, I set off with my friend, tech entrepreneur Zac Bookman, to document his cycling journey across the United States—from San Francisco to Chesapeake Bay, Virginia. The goal was simple: make it from coast to coast before winter arrived. But we didn’t anticipate the challenges ahead: detours from California wildfires, a flash flood in Utah that swept away our support vehicle, and bone-chilling temperatures on the East Coast, all of which made our objective even tougher to achieve. Along the way, I stopped to speak with Americans to hear how life was in their part of the country.
Now, that the documentary is complete, I’m excited to screen it exclusively for friends and family before it goes on sale via digital platforms like Amazon Prime.
