Welp, here’s to art just being art.

When I filled out the submission form for Arte del Pueblo I titled the entry “The Flow”. Life sometimes flows you straight into a black hole and I decided to leave the hole in the canvas and pour the resin anyway to celebrate it, rather than decide it was ruined.

I didn’t wanna patch my first museum piece and now if anyone buys it they have a great story to go with it. We’ll see in a few hours if it’s gonna work out or not. Shawna Stillwell
