Today, we celebrate the incredible legacy of Dolly Parton a woman whose words, music, and fearless authenticity helped pave the way for generations of women songwriters. 🤍🎶

Dolly showed us that a woman could tell her own stories, write her own songs, own her voice, and build a career without losing sight of who she was. From heartbreak and hardship to love, strength, humor, and hope, her songwriting has connected with generations and inspired countless women to pick up a pen, a guitar, and tell their own stories.

Her influence can still be heard in the women writing and performing today. including the talented songwriters we are so proud to celebrate at the Texas Women’s Songwriters Festival.

Thank you, Dolly, for breaking barriers, opening doors, and showing women everywhere just how powerful their stories can be. Your songs will live on, and the path you helped create will continue to be walked by women songwriters for generations to come. ❤️

As one of the few (or possibly the first) artists with ALS to play a festival, we are very honored to have Dr. Barb join us and to help continue to bring awareness and fundraising to the ALS Association.
