With over 20 years as a professional musician, Richard has built a reputation for excellence both on stage and behind the scenes. A master musician and. keyboardist as well as an accomplished audio engineer, he studied audio engineering under renowned instructor Marius Perron, developing the expertise that allows him to bring world-class sound and production to every event.

Throughout his career, Richard has shared the stage with legendary artists including the late great Emilio Navaira, Raulito Navaira, and Patsy Torres. His musical journey has taken him across countless stages, from performances with Eclipse: A Tribute to Journey, to the Tejano powerhouse La 45, as well as appearances for Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld San Antonio.

As the owner of Quema Productions and Quema Studios, Richard delivers professional live sound, studio production, and audiovisual services with precision and passion.

At The Elegant Chair, Richard is truly a triple threat—serving as our Audio Engineer, Visual Engineer, and Musician, bringing an unmatched level of talent, professionalism, and experience to every celebration.

☀️Good morning Chair Society!✨🪑

Here for a long read? I hope you are! This episode is called “The Origin of The Chair” IYKYK! Hehe!🤭

First off! I would like to thank ALL our followers! I would say’s “new” followers but none of you are new around here! Thank you to all who’ve booked, referred, and allowed us to celebrate all of life’s moments, BIG and small! After years of helping bring weddings, parties, and special events to life behind the scenes, I’m SO excited to announce THIS OFFICIAL launch of my event planning business full time!✨

🍃What started as a passion has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. During the 2025 season alone, we had an event every single month, and every celebration reminded me just how much I love creating meaningful, beautiful experiences for others.

The Elegant Chair Events is truly a family affair! Together with my administrative services manager (who just happens to also be my sister), our entire family, some friends who’ve become family and the best “day of” team, and our incredible preferred vendors, we’ve poured our hearts into every detail — from the first consultation all the way to the after-event tear down. Watching visions come to life for our clients has been one of the most rewarding journeys.🥹

We are so excited to continue growing and expanding in every way we can — weddings, parties, showers, corporate events, intimate gatherings, and everything in between. No matter the occasion, we would be honored to be a part of your life’s biggest AND smallest moments. Because they should all be celebrated in Elegance!🤍
