Today we recognize #IndigenousPeoplesDay a day to honor Indigenous history and culture.
We recently celebrated Native American Day at The Bankhead Plaza, a day filled with stories, song, dance, and community love and appreciation. We are grateful for our partnership with local Natives who educate and embrace our community with their traditions and history.
Livermore Valley Arts acknowledges that we are on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ohlone. We affirm the sovereign rights of their community as First Peoples and are committed to supporting the traditional and contemporary evolution of the American Indian community and uplifting contemporary indigenous voices and culture.
