Throughout Downtown Livermore, the OnlyUp team of mural artists have left their mark once again, adding more robust color and imagery throughout Downtown. The 2021 Mural Fest added four more murals to join last year’s inaugural eight, as well as installed four new murals at @thewellsunset a new development for local small businesses.
Rescheduled due to air quality concerns, we are excited to announce the 2021 Mural Fest Mural Tours, dubbed ArtHop, are back on for September 11th, 2021.
Organized by OnlyUP and @livermorevalleycraftbeer,all tour ticket proceeds will be to support @gvlivermore, a supportive tiny home community in Livermore that provides affordable and permanent housing and on-site services for people exiting chronic homelessness.
The tours will begin and end at @pennyweightbrew where guests will be able to be some of the first to purchase their collaboration brew with OnlyUp named ‘Art Hop2.0’, an all-IPA beer featuring mural artwork from Ricky Watts] 2020 Livermore Mural. A gallery of artwork by local artists, as well as prints of the murals and the OnlyUp Paint Off paintings will be available for sale and auction at the Brewery. The walking tours will be lead by local artists, and will take place outdoors in limited group to encourage Covid safety and social distancing.

Artist Statement
“Being a muralist and curator I’m often on the road or flying somewhere. My family and I leave for weeks at a time working in other areas. People always ask why Californians stay here being that it’s so pricey. It’s something Californians can not explain but something others have to experience to understand. The access to nature and cityscapes all in one place is incredible. I love leaving because I love coming home. This painting represents our wonderful state and the things we have direct access too. The things that bring us joy. “

MURAL TOURS POSTPONED!!
We have some bummer news!! Together with @livermorevalleycraftbeer, we have decided to postpone tomorrow’s mural tours event due to air quality concerns (the AQI is over 170!) plus the heat.
We want to do this right and by postponing the event, we will be able to enjoy the meeting murals, and support @gvlivermore and local artists even more!
To all our sponsors and current ticket holders, we will be emailing details with new dates, refund info, etc!
