On Saturday I hosted the bi-monthly workshop for the Washington Historical Gunmakers Guild. During the get together we sat down and scheduled the seminars and classes for both the WHGG and the West Coast Horn Fair. I won't go into details about the gunmakers schedule but I will elaborate on what was proposed for the WCHF.

1. The WCHF staff wants to change the name to the "West Coast Horn & Accouterments Fair". The thought is that there is so much more we do besides horns and wanted to make sure we were including knives, bags etc.

2. We have requested April 23 and 24 with the 22 as a set up day. We have not received confirmation from our host but feel confident we will get our requested dates.

3. The following is our proposed preliminary class schedule for 2016:

Saturday AM: Tips and tricks for turning horn on your lathe. Instructor Steve Skillman
Saturday PM: Knife assembly, show me the ways to attach a handle/haft to a knife blank. Instructor Glenn Sutt

Sunday AM: Straps and attachment methods. Instructor Scott Morrison

I leave you with the above information as it was presented at my shop on Saturday. There will be more to come. Please check with any of the horn and accouterments fair steering committee members for further information. I am confident that Steve will keep the members of the horner's bench informed as developments are made.
