An open letter to our vendors:

Little Rock Little Market started over a year ago as a defiant shout into the void: “Hey! Look at us! Our community makes cool things! Look at the ideas their hands have breathed life into!” That first shout was with a shaky voice & uncertain hands. Insecure & hesitant in the parking lot of an abandoned building, we turned our jumbled ideas into a successful market. How did we do it?

You.

The artists who spin their passions into gold. The vendors who get up early on a Saturday to spend their day out in the elements. The ones who gracefully dig through bins for the best thrifted items in the name of fashionable sustainability. The artists who dedicate their free time to creating masterpieces. The vendors who share our posts and spread the word of upcoming events. Word of mouth & social media are powerful tools, & our vendors wield that combined arsenal with succinct mastery. Without each of these elements, LRLM would not be what it is.

That’s what it’s all about. Recognizing the insanely talented local scene and helping showcase these creators (YOU!) to the world. We are surrounded by people who are full of ideas & artistry. The creative scene in Little Rock is thriving! We want to fan the embers of that flame into something even bigger & we love that we are a part of your journey.

All of this is just to say that we’re grateful for you. We had an idea that it’d be cool to have a lot of artists of different mediums in one place & then turn it into a party. That was the goal. Then we got attached & invested & basically caught feelings way too quickly because now we devote so much of our time to ensuring y’all have a joyful space to show off your work. And it’s an absolute pleasure to do so because you’re just so cool to us. We recognize the work you do & maintain such respect for your individuality and technique. You have a special place in our hearts.

We love what we do, seeing your faces, having conversations with you, & admiring your work. Each of you is the next big thing, we’re so sure of it. Your hearts are big and your talent is even bigger. Thank you for working with us.

Thanks Little Rock for a very full and sweet weekend of markets! ✨We sold ~100 tees & sweatshirts to you all with about half of those being our new Arkansas Opossums! ✨

Thanks to event organizers for The Bernice Garden, SoMa Little Rock, Pettaway Square, Little Rock, Little Market, Funky Finds by Jas & Flyway Brewing for creating spaces for us to share Wig Dog art with you all! 💛 See y’all next weekend.

Downtown will be the place to be this weekend! With the right down the street and having their holiday open house, you don’t have to leave downtown to have a fun filled day✨

Big news: We are officially beginning our vendor call! 🤩

We’re looking for local creatives to vend with us, whatever medium you use! We love celebrating with a plethora of different creators! We know that our local community is full of so many diverse artists and makers, and we love having the opportunity to work side by side with you. This market is a special one, and it’s going to be big!

Y’all, we are SO excited to announce our next market! We’ve taken the last two months off to reeeaallly focus on putting together a phenomenal event for our Little Rock community!

For this event, we are partnering with Bella Vita to throw the shop’s 15th year celebration!

We’ll be shutting down 6th street & filling it with all your favorite local artists, creators, and vendors! We’re talking local designer creations here folks!
Of course it isn’t a party without music so we’ll have some live performances as well 🤩
