Theater for Charity

Theater for Charity We do Theater For Good! Giving Back with What We Love: THE ARTS We do these shows for charity and for my personal purpose to honor my parents.

My parents provided me with exposure to the arts - from listening to symphonies and opera to playing the flute and piano. I started performing when I was about 8 - and even went so far as to start my college years as a theater major. I soon discovered that as much as I love the arts- there are so many others who have the skill, voice, chops to provide me with the joy of observation :)

I started p

roducing shows to honor my stepfather, Dr. Eugene A Southwell. “Doc,” as I called him, was a clinical psychologist, college professor, and author. He was dedicated to child psychology and for creating an inclusive environment for mentally challenged individuals. He was the first person to show me the grace to give to others with two charitable organizations he started, including “The Dr. Charles E Gavin Foundation.”

AND, he and my Mother were the ones who introduced me to theater. After he passed away, we produced our first show 14 years ago and it was “Into the Woods,” with a stellar cast of lovely friends. I promise beautiful productions done and performed with love...please join us

Happy Juneteenth!

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward equality and belonging.

At its heart, The Prom is a story about acceptance, standing up for what is right, and ensuring everyone has a place where they can be seen, valued, and celebrated.

As we honor Juneteenth, we also honor and partner with them to support inclusivity and love!
