Shafer Studios GeorgeAnn Shafer is an East Texas based artist who has been painting in one form or another for the past 40 years.

She attended Texas Christian University where she studied Art Education and went on to pursue a Masters in Painting and Drawing at the University of Dallas. GeorgeAnn later completed her education by recieving a Masters in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography, at the Academy of Art University. She owned her own art studio in southern California, but since returning to Texas she has focus on t

eaching from her home based studio while working on her own portfolio. Check out her current series page to see what she is working on right now!

Attention MOMS …Lindale and surrounding

I am looking for input… For those that cannot schedule or afford a summer art camp, would you be interested in prepared art kits for up to four… That you can do with your own children or your children and a few friends… Prepped, directions, clear examples ready to go…?

I’m thinking you could order the kits for two, four, or six with varying affordable prices.… These would be for predominantly K through five… Some would be based on art and literature. It’s easy to scroll past this I know, but I would really like input… And what kind of projects would you enjoy. Everything would be provided except for probably scissors and things that you would mostly have at home.
