Hey friends 💜
This past year I’ve spent the majority of my time as the Founder of a Charity Fundraiser known as D.R.E.S.S. To Impress which will be next Saturday, August 9th (3:30–9 PM) at Robber’s Cave, Lincoln, NE. This event is incredibly close to my heart, raising funds for research on D.R.E.S.S. Syndrome, a rare and life-changing disease I’ve personally battled, as well as supporting amazing local organizations that give back to our community.
There will be live comedy, a silent auction, trivia, caricatures, a puppy petting zoo, haircuts, permanent jewelry, a concert at the end, and more. (Also, Freddy’s is catering and Dairy Joe’s is bringing their ice cream truck). Admission is $20 at the door (cash, card, Venmo, or CashApp accepted).
If you’re free for even a little bit I’d like to see my friends there. I’ll be on stage most of the night trying to hold my composure but if I’m not I’d love if you just came up and gave me a big hug. If you know other kind-hearted people who’d enjoy supporting a good cause, please invite them too. My goal in life has become simple: to leave the world a better place than the one I walked into, and this is one way I hope to do that.
