I was born in the early 1980's and since the age of 14 I have been professionally showing my work all over Louisiana with an average of 10 art shows a year. One of my favorite subjects to draw are the vintage rides from the 1940's & 50's. Before starting a drawing I will visit the site or research old photographs as a reference for drawing. Most drawing projects take about 8 to 10 days to complete
. Many hours are spent on rough sketches with the use of rulers and geometry to make each drawing precise right down to the last detail. My original sketches range in size from 11X14 to 18X24 in size. My artwork is also reproduced as notecards, calendars and prints that are size 8 1/2 X 11 in size. Over the years I have drawn over 400 carnival scenes including old and contemporary style amusement rides. Many of drawings are owned by fair organizations, carnival owners, collectors and amusement park enthusiasts across the United States.
