We’re sad to announce that William Jewell College has discontinued all Jewell Theatre Company programming at the college. Professor Nathan Wyman has been administrator for this page since the beginning and plans to change it to a “Friends and Alumni of JTCo” page.

We can share memories and discuss successes of alumni of the program.

After dedicating 28 years of his blood, sweat, and tears to WJC and building the Theatre program, Wyman has accepted a teaching position at Millikin University in Illinois where he will be Professor of Scenic Design and the Coordinator of the Design and Production Team.

A while back the Midwest Ghost Project spent the night in Garnett Peters Theater. They’ll be sharing their findings in the coming weeks. They told us they had more activity in Brown Hall than any other hunt! If you’ve ever spent a night in Peters Theater at Jewell and experienced something strange, let us know in the comments!

The Midwest Ghost Project was honored to be given permission to explore the Garnett M. Peters Theatre at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri last year. Our teaser is live at https://youtube.com/?si=9dGn5LKlemaDQlxj

This was, hands down, one of the best experiences our team has ever documented. 👻🤯 And we can’t wait to share some of our sessions with you.

Full episodes will begin going live in April. Follow us at the link below for notifications! 🔔🙌
