Nero Portoro Black Marble is an authentic black marble with varying degrees of gold veining throughout sedimentary rock quarried in Italy.

I’ll be starting phase one with this new project which will be cutting a flat base at the bottom of this stunning stone and drilling a hole in the base so I can pin it upright to begin carving out my design.

What a blessing to be apart of this!

Over 800 students from Noble Elementary got to visit Lions Foundation Park throughout the day yesterday to meet all the sculptors, see live sculpting demonstrations, and learn about the different art mediums on display. The kids are full of curiosity — asking questions, watching the artists work, and getting a sneak peek at what’s to come this weekend.

All of this excitement is building up to the Liberty Hill Sculpture Festival — this Saturday, October 18th, from 2–7 p.m. at Lions Foundation Park. Come experience the art, meet the sculptors, enjoy live music, food, and family fun!
