Do you know the best way to support your friend’s small business? I bet it’s not what you think. Sure buying from them is a nice gesture and every bit helps. But that’s not a sustainable option.

The most valuable thing you can do to show your support is to share their posts and interact with their content. The average number of friends a facebook user has is 300 to 350. So every time you share a post you are giving free advertisement for your friend to 300 plus people. Now imagine 10 friends shared that post. That’s 3000. You get the idea.

The moral of this story is:

Shop small, share big! Support your local artist and hometown businesses.

🌺- Forever Plant @ The Funk
Sept. 2. 6pm
* Learn to make a beautiful miniature potted plant from beads that will sparkle an last forever

🎃- Pumpkin Pendants @ Attic 13 on Main
Sept. 12. 11am
* Try your hand at wire wrapping a semi precious gem stone in copper wire to create a one of a kind fall pendant.

👻- Ghost Tree @ The Funk
With Barry's Rock-n-Trees
Sept. 16. 6pm
* Come laugh and have a great time with me and Barry in our first every combo class. We’ll be making that adorable little felted ghost sitting in one of Barry’s signature trees. It’s will be a twisted, felted good time!

🎨- Paint-n-Sip @ Floating Goat Brewing
Sept. 19
* There is absolutely nothing better that sipping on a cold crafted brew with a paint brush in your hand. Unless it’s sitting at The Goat sipping on that cold b**r with me and a group of your friends. Let’s start fall the right way by painting a lovely floral pumpkin together!
