Support our Town!

Our post got deleted! 🥴😭 A glitch caused our previous post to be deleted but we are reposting here to let everyone know that Uptown Lexington is open for business!!!

While the street remains closed in front of the businesses that were lost in the fire, along with a portion of E 1st St., the district is open! You can access ALL of the open businesses in the District with just a small detour. Pedestrian traffic can access both sides of Main Street to the north and south of the closed area by the sidewalk in front of Army Navy Store!

Our hearts go out to all the local businesses, families, and individuals impacted by the devastating fire in Uptown Lexington.

We are incredibly grateful for our firefighters, first responders, and emergency crews who continue working tirelessly to keep our community safe.

Uptown is the heartbeat of our community and we are holding everyone affected close in our thoughts.

We know we've been a little quiet lately as we prepare for a new season and upcoming changes - but here are some fun stats to look back on from our 2025-2026 season!

Since opening in 2020, LLCT has experienced remarkable momentum, and this past year marked another season of significant growth across nearly every measure of impact. From increased performances and audience engagement to expanded donor support, stronger community partnerships, and more opportunities for local artists to take the stage, our continued growth reflects a thriving organization with deepening roots in Lexington. In just a few short years, LLCT has grown from a new vision into a vibrant and essential part of our community’s cultural landscape—and the excitement continues to build for what comes next.
