WHO WANTS TO DANCE IN RUPP ARENA?!!!! Now’s your chance!!!!

UK DANCE DAY IS ALMOST HERE so register now!!!!
Feb 11th at the halftime of the UK WBB game at 4pm! This is your chance to dance in with the UKDT!! We are soooooo excited because from will be here dancing with the UKDT! The UK Dance Day t-shirt will be pink since it’s “Play4Kay” day to highlight the fight against breast cancer.

UK DANCE DAY (Feb.11, 2024) info

Don’t miss this opportunity to dance with the UK Dance Team at the halftime of the UK vs ATM Women’s Basketball game in Rupp Arena!!!

Open to anyone age 6 and older! No experience necessary!

Feb. 11th (Game starts at 4pm)

$75

*Dance at the half-time

*Many asked if we could perform the dance we did at Dance Day 2023 at the UK football game, so here it is!!! It will be the same routine, just a different place!

*We will teach the dances online on FB if you didn’t attend didn’t dance with us in Sept.

*We will practice on the day of the game (approx. 1-2pm)

*Each participant will receive entry to the game (additional tickets may be purchased) and a pink UK DANCE DAY shirt

*Don’t miss out on dancing with your friends and family in RUPP ARENA!!!!

Everyone will need an updated physical to perform.

Please don’t wait to register if you want to come! I have reopened it, but when it is closed the next time, I won’t be able to allow any more dancers. I am so excited and happy about the huge demand for our UKDT Training Clinics

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A DANCER for the UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY?
If so, make plans to attend our UK Dance Team Training Clinic on Dec. 16th at the University of Kentucky. Register now! Click on the link below

This will be open to 8th grade through college students who want to know what it takes to become a collegiate dancer. A hip-hop dance will be taught, the actual UK "tryout" fight song will be taught and tryout skills will be reviewed. University of Kentucky Dance Team tryout and team information will be discussed, along with any other questions you may have during the Q&A session. (Parents are welcome to sit in) We will also be giving out "videotape by-passes" to the top dancers at this clinic. This means you would not have to submit a video tape as the first step of tryouts, but you would automatically be invited to the in-person tryout in May. Signings to the UKDT by the coaches may also be made.

The University of Kentucky Dance Team is composed of two teams. The Blue Squad performs at home football games and home men's basketball games. The White Squad performs at home football games and home women's basketball games.

We are so excited for UK DANCE DAY 2023!!!
*It will be at HALF-TIME of the UK vs EKU game on Sept. 9th! Game starts at 3pm (The dances will be posted on FB)
*Open to anyone age 6yrs old and above!
*We will practice the morning of the game (Time TBA), and perform at half-time
*Performers will receive their ticket to the game (additional tickets can be purchased), a UK Dance Day t-shirt, and the chance to perform with the UKDT and Wildcat Marching Band on the field!
