I started this piece in 2017, shortly after the end of my first marriage. So much has happened since then, and life has had me putting this piece aside then working on it again and again. Tonight, sitting in my living room, next to my love in our new home, I am calling it done. Appropriate.

I wonder if I’ll get this finished before it turns 10? I started this in 2017, and it’s just been something I pull out occasionally and work on. Now is one of those forced downtimes that it gets pulled out. I’m getting tantalizingly close now though.
