These two have a lovely harmony about them. Hyottoko keeps the fire burning, and Okame keeps the home happy.

Come and see them at Japan/America Society of Kentucky Japan Festival in Frankfort this Saturday! We’ll be at booth 4

Good morning, community! 💙🐈

Everyone keeps asking, How can we help?

First, THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every phone call, text, email, donation, social media share, equipment loan, purchases, paperwork, hugs, tears, kind word, and every other way you’ve shown up for us. You know who you are, and we appreciate you more than you know.

Until we can completely get back on our feet and rebuild, one of the best ways you can help is by shopping with us and supporting our small businesses. 💙

You can find us at:

🐈 Local LEX Market
🐈 Georgetown Peddlers Mall
🐈 West Lexington Peddlers Mall
🐈 East Lexington Peddlers Mall
🐈 El Gato Azul, LLC storefront
📍 441-B Southland Drive, Lexington, KY 11-6 Monday-Friday right now

We will NOT be open at the storefront this Saturday or Sunday. Instead, we’ll be out at the Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival from 10 AM–5 PM both days!

You can also shop with us online at www.elgatoazullex.com.

Please keep in mind that our website doesn’t have our newest inventory or the items we had at the Kentucky State Fair right now—but we can make things! If you see something you love or need something specific, please reach out to us. 💙

And most importantly, please continue to give us grace, patience, and understanding as we navigate this unexpected road and work to rebuild.

We may be rebuilding, but we are not rebuilding alone. You all have reminded us what community truly means.

Thank you for continuing to show up for us, support us, shop with us, and believe in us.

Much love, always. 💙🐈

Community over competition. Locals supporting locals. Teamwork makes the dream work!

My dad had bright blue eyes that would twinkle when he was thinking of something he thought was funny. We didn’t always agree with him about that. Anyway, here are some magnets we made for Japan/America Society of Kentucky Japan Festival. Get yours this Saturday, Sept 12 in downtown Frankfort!
