feel I need to give a brief update.

My personal life has taken an unexpected turn. One that deeply affects my child. As well as, my mental wellbeing. Which means, I am not accepting any bookings for the time being.

I also feel with the state of the nation, that it’s just a really hard situation to be free, creative and expressive in ways you deserve!

This isn’t a goodbye though! It’s just a pause to put my family’s well being first until we settle.

I want it to be known that Haus of Poise celebrates all walks of life and is a safe place for everyone! If you need anything (groceries, medications, etc) PLEASE let me know! 🙏🏼

Haus of Poise maybe new … but I am not.

I’ve been photographing people for over a decade. The nerves. The laughter. Feeling guarded in ways because ultimately, you just aren’t confident within yourself. I’ve seen it all!

This studio exists because I wanted to take everything I’ve learned and do it differently.
Slower. More intentional. More human.

This isn’t a “just starting out” moment.
I’m starting over on my own terms.

Thanks for following my new journey! It’s going to be a slow process to start since I am starting off PT. But thanks for being here! 🥰

You’re not unphotogenic.
You’re just tired of impossible standards.

It’s about turning the f**king volume down on that voice.

I almost didn’t start this because I didn’t feel completely confident in myself yet.

I kept telling myself I needed more time.
More clarity.
More proof I wouldn’t f**k it up.
A quieter mind.
A life that felt less on fire.

But here’s the part we don’t say out loud enough:
confidence doesn’t come first. Action does.

Confidence is what shows up after you stop waiting to feel ready.
After you take the damn risk.
After you let yourself be seen, even when it’s uncomfortable as hell.

❤️Haus of Poise exists because I was tired of postponing my own life while telling myself “someday.”

❤️And it’s for the women who are exhausted from carrying everything and still feeling like they’re not enough.

You don’t need to feel confident.
You don’t need to have your s**t together.
You just need to show the f**k up.

Confidence will meet you there.

After over a decade behind the camera as a wedding photographer, one thing became very clear to me: the moments that mattered most were the real ones. The weird laughs. The raw emotion. The in-between glances. The unpolished magic.

That’s exactly what I’m carrying into Haus of Poise.

This isn’t about stiff posing or pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s about showing up as you. Messy. Bold. Soft. Loud. Tired. Powerful. All of it.

Haus of Poise is for the women who’ve been putting themselves last.
The ones who forgot what it feels like to feel hot, confident, or even just seen.
The rebels who don’t quite fit the mold and don’t want to anymore.

Starting January 1st, I’m opening the doors to something deeply personal, emotive, a little weird, and very intentional.

I can’t wait to create images that remind you who the hell you are underneath the noise.

Here’s to reclaiming yourself.
Here’s to taking up space.
Here’s to your rebellion. 🖤

Today I felt bloated.
Defeated.
Still in yesterday’s clothes.
Haven’t even convinced myself a shower is worth the effort yet.

And honestly?

F**k the bulls**t excuses we hand ourselves when it comes to feeling good.

Not tomorrow.
Not when life calms down.
Not when the body looks different.
Not when you’ve “earned it.”

This moment. This body. This version of you.
Still deserves care. Still deserves fire. Still deserves to be seen.

Something is coming that’s for the women who are tired of waiting for permission to feel powerful again.
