At the moment, resident artist Carol Buswell Artist's go-to palette includes Gamblin Artists Colors cadmium yellow light, cadmium yellow deep, cadmium red light, alizarin crimson, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, transparent earth red, and titanium white. For her, having a warm and a cool of each primary coupled with a warm / neutral earth pigment provides an incredibly wide range of colors to work with while maintaining cohesive color harmony. She also uses Rosemary & Co Artists Brushes's badger blenders for softening edges and laying in huge areas of paint at one time.

Are there colors you always have on your palette? Do you have a favorite brush? Please let us know in the comments below!
