Spectrum Playhouse The Spectrum Playhouse is a project of the College Internship Program.

The Spectrum Playhouse is a multi-purpose performance space hosting professional performing artists, theatre productions, concerts, lectures and more, developing the performing and visual arts talents of young adults who have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome and other Learning Differences. The Spectrum Playhouse is available for rent to performers and musicians as well as for private events.

What is CIP?
CIP (College Internship Program) offers comprehensive services for young adults with autism and learning differences, guiding them towards independence, successful college experiences, and meaningful careers.

🎓 College Options: Students can take classes at Indiana University Bloomington or Ivy Tech Community College.

💼 Employment Partners: CIP Bloomington partners with employers in education, healthcare, and retail, including Indiana University, local hospitals, and small businesses.

🌆 Things to Do: Enjoy college town life with a thriving arts scene, outdoor activities at Lake Monroe, and exploring Hoosier National Forest.

This week, we’re shining a light on CIP Berkshire in Lee, Massachusetts! 🌟 Nestled in the scenic Berkshires, this campus offers a peaceful environment where students can grow academically and socially while building their independence.

What is CIP?
CIP (College Internship Program) is a comprehensive program designed to support young adults with autism and learning differences as they transition to independence. We provide personalized services to help students succeed in college, careers, and beyond.

🎓 College Options: Students can enroll in courses at nearby Berkshire Community College and Bard College at Simon’s Rock.

💼 Employment Partners: CIP Berkshire partners with local businesses in hospitality, retail, and the arts, including the Norman Rockwell Museum and the Red Lion Inn.

🌳 Things to Do: Enjoy the great outdoors with hiking, skiing, and cultural experiences at Tanglewood and MASS MoCA.

As June arrives we near the end of our 2023-2024 Program Year. "Empower YOU", our annual theme, speaks to the essence of empowering people to be stronger and more confident in controlling their lives and claiming their rights.

This theme serves as a reminder to celebrate the diverse strengths and challenges of our neurodivergent students and of the belonging that exists within CIP's community.

It emphasizes the importance of being your authentic self, accepting others as they are, and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
