Cody grew up in paradise Texas being around and involved in showstock from the start. After graduating Cody attended Tarleton State were he earned his bachelors degree in animal science in December of 2020, while attending Tarleton he was apart of the 2019 livestock judging team.
Cody started Heads Up Genetics in the spring of 2017 and grew the operation to 30 sows while working at Foote Farms where he was involved in marketing the boars and showpigs, most notably All due Respect, cobra, inner circle, hundy and 99 problems with big wins across the country. While raising showpigs is no longer the focus of heads up genetics he has shifted it to consulting, buying feeding and working with families across the state to give them the most success possible. Where he enjoys working along side his wife and the challenges of to put together competitive sets of showpigs for the families they help.
