Fun little October coincidence - Just painted this very same scene of the pleasure pier ex tempore. So I thought I’d repost this reel. And I also wanted to make it look like fall is finally here.

It’s up now at the Art League juried October show, which is a great show by the way. So go see it y’all! 🏃🏻‍♀️

Up until October 25

New October show is up at Art League Galveston. Lots of souvenirs- for yourself. Or for the folks at home 🏠 ✨

I made three oils for a change this time. All Galveston themed scenes. Enjoy your weekend, folks. And remember the souvenirs if you have the chance to travel!

“Mundane by day, Spectacular by night”

The 60 ft high electric welcome to Galveston sign. installed 1912 but only lasted a decade or so in the salty air on the Seawall. It had 3000 light bulbs but couldn’t find any photos of what it looked like all lit up. Maybe something like this… ✨

Size of painting: 20”x20”

Her own biggest cheerleader ⭐️

Are you unnecessarily harsh to yourself? Many, if not most are, right?:

”Would you speak to your friend, the way you speak to yourself?”

Probably not.

This lady is ready to serve as your supporting executive creative chief of daily encouragement 🏆 ✨👏

Have a lovely weekend

”It ain’t braggin if it’s true” ☝🏼
What are you proud of today?

Looking at the calendar, there will be a lot of bragging on the socials this Sunday about who’s blessed with the best mom ever - and that’s alright. Because it’s not bragging if it’s true.

I didn’t paint this one with Mother’s Day in mind. However,it just dawned on me what a great Mother’s Day present this painting would be.

Imagine the reaction of the receiver if you were to gift this painting to a loved one, someone you look up to or someone you appreciate very much?

A best friend, colleague, sibling, parent, you name it 😚

Holler if you need this one
