Forte Fine Arts is thrilled to introduce our new violin instructor, Madeline Gutzke! 🎻🎶
A native of Mankato, MN, Madeline began her violin studies at age eight with Mankato teacher Patti Tryhus. She studied with Peter McGuire and Dr. Natalia Moiseeva in high school and while at Bethany Lutheran College and served as concertmaster for BLC’s chamber orchestra. She graduated with honors with a double bachelor’s degree in music performance and psychology in 2023.
A violin instructor since 2024, she enjoys instilling the importance and joy of music in her students.
Madeline plays with the Mankato Symphony Orchestra and various local chamber ensembles. She also loves to sing and play folk/bluegrass fiddle and guitar with her family and local groups. When not playing or listening to music, Madeline enjoys spending time in nature, knitting, gardening, and cooking. She lives in Mankato with her husband Alex.
