What does it take to turn a passion for culture and community into ...

10/07/2026

To every artist, performer, vendor, volunteer, sponsor, partner, photographer, videographer, and community member who joined us for the 2026 African American Culture & Arts Festival, we are deeply grateful.

A special thank you to the City of Suwanee and Gwinnett Creativity Fund for your support in helping make this celebration possible.

Mother Nature gave us a 45-minute downpour! But the rain did not define our day. The clouds moved on, the music returned, artists took the stage, vendors reopened, and our community kept celebrating.

That spirit is AACAF.

It is Black art. Black culture. Black creativity. Black entrepreneurship. Black joy. Community. Resilience. Belonging.

Thank you for dancing, shopping, eating, creating, performing, volunteering, supporting Black-owned businesses, and celebrating with us.

AACAF is bigger than one day. We are building legacy, creating opportunities, connecting generations, and making space for Black brilliance to be seen, valued, supported, and celebrated.

Help us continue this work throughout the year. Donate at: BlackACE.net/DONATE

And keep the celebration going! Share your favorite photos and videos, tag Black Art, Culture & Education (BACE), and use .

Together, we celebrate culture. Together, we strengthen community. Together, we build legacy. ❤️🖤💚

THANK YOU!

We are grateful for each and every person who made the African-American Culture and Arts Festival at Suwanee Town Center Park possible.
To our vendors, our volunteers, our contractors, and the City of Suwanee team, thank you for your time, your talent, and your care. To the Gwinnett Creativity Fund, thank you for your support and for believing in this work.

Although it rained for about 45 minutes, some of our vendors decided to stay. Then the grey clouds opened to the sun, and we did not have any more rain.

The show continued. We enjoyed the entertainment, and we danced on the lawn to the live music of the Upgrade ATL band.

The rain passed. The joy stayed.

We are deeply grateful for those who came out! And for those who made this event possible.

THANK YOU.

* Stay tuned for professional photos (Emory Rose Photography) & videos (Major Works Productions). *
