Okay, let me explain the PATCH PROJECT shenanigans…

Lately I’ve been getting a LOT of monthly views across my socials, which sounds amazing… but I’ve started wondering if the algorithm is actually showing Pumpkidz to the right people.

Because thousands of views are great, but if the Halloween lovers, spooky collectors, plushie people and fellow little weirdos aren’t seeing us… what do those numbers really mean?

So I decided to conduct a very ✨professional✨ experiment. 😂

My normal product posts don’t always get much traction, so I created code PATCHPROJECT for 10% off and I’m testing different posts, wording and mentions of the coupon to see what the algorithm does with them.

Does adding a sale change the reach?
Are people actually reading the posts?
Does anyone use the code?
Can I convince the algorithm to find MY PEOPLE?! 😂

Basically, Pumpkidz is the guinea pig and my sewing room is now a laboratory…

So if you see PATCHPROJECT popping up everywhere, now you know why.

And if you happen to use it… congratulations, you’ve officially become part of the experiment.
