It was a busy summer indeed. It was nice to imagine a summer filled with sun and popsicles, but even better to live it. That was truly magical. Now, I’m bidding the fun summer days goodbye and welcoming a new season of soupy meals, sweaters and knits, returning to our rhythm with everyday walks, and naps outside while it’s 30 degrees out. I can almost feel the productive energy returning—what a wonderful end to the year it will be.

Posting has taken a bit of a backseat, over here. Between enjoying the summer with my soon to be two year old and starting my journey as an independent journalist, i’ve found it more important than ever to balance intentional media consumption. However, i’ve been painting, gardening, thrifting and doing all the wonderful things i enjoy to pour back into myself after a season of burnout. Will share more soon, take care till then

another throwback with the S family since baby S is expected to arrive this month! it was pure nostalgia seeing newborn baby clothes, boots and all the things from the newborn bubble. pregnancy and expecting is such a life changing journey. its such a great opportunity to document what it really looked like, so you can sit and flip through it for nostalgia as time passes by. 🩵

Went for a little me time today and it obviously was to the thrift store. I do regret to inform you that the 4 Little Suzy’s Zoo books that were in perfect condition are now ruined because they didn’t dry thoroughly after I disinfected them. Now i’m on the hunt for new ones to replace them.😭
