The past few days have absolutely SPOILED me and have got me so excited and ready for warm weather 24/7! Unfortunately, I just checked the weather and they are calling for a snow shower this afternoon. YUCK!

Anyways.... check out this detail shot from one of my most recent portrait sessions with a beautiful couple who braved the absolute frigid temperatures and brutal wind during their session.

Family portrait sessions can be a bit of a challenge, especially when you've got a crew of pre-teens and teens who are all about keeping it casual! 😂 This family portrait session was one where the kids were happy to cooperate for a few shots, but mostly they just wanted to chill and be themselves.

Meanwhile, mom was eager to capture every moment and make sure we got all the perfect poses... sound familiar? 😉
I totally get it - as a photographer, I want to make sure we get all the images, but sometimes the best moments are the ones where everyone is just being themselves.

A huge shoutout to this sweet family for being so patient and making the most of our time together!
