This concert is a “uniquely Henderson” event featuring three entertainment icons who have performed Worldwide, throughout Nevada and are residents of our city. This show will celebrate the soundtrac of our lives – as presented by these gifted artists in a “welcome home” orchestral / pops performance!
Sonny Turner – lead singer of the world famous vocal group The Platters, with hits including : “Only You”, “The Great Pretender”, “My Prayer” “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes” “I Love You 1000 Times”, “With This Ring” and “Twilight Time”
Sonny Charles – Lead singer of Las Vegas legends – “The Checkmates” Sonny’s hits include: “Black Pearl and “Put It In A Magazine”. Sonny has recently been touring worldwide as the featured vocalist with classic rock legend Steve Miller, and released his new CD “Let‘s Do It”
Kelly Clinton – This rising star may be best described as “a kaleidoscope of talent.” – Singer, Actress, Comedienne, & television personality. Her wonderful voice, charisma and talent always shine through. Kelly was named “2015 Entertainer of The Year” by the Nevada Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
All three Henderson artists will perform with our excellent Henderson Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Geoff Neuman.
