WLVHS and WLVMS Writing Clubs will be selling copies of their poetry collection through Friday, April 10th. Please support our students in their last stretch fundraising! We will also be having a book launch where our students will read their poems from the book (date TBD).

Good evening, Las Vegas!

Our WLVHS Writing Club hopes to travel to El Paso on April 16-19, but we have not yet reached our $ goal. If we don’t raise enough $, our students won’t be able to take their hard-earned trip to collaborate with students from the El Paso area and participate in an Open Mic. Members of our Writing Club attended the NEREC Building Better Readers Workshop on February 24th at NMHU. They had the honor of hearing some amazing speakers and meeting some great authors! Thank you to Jacqueline for organizing and inviting us to this event!

West Las Vegas High School Writing Club is selling Valentine's Poems and Bundles! See the flyer for details and pricing. All orders and money due by January 30th.

*All poems are written on vintage stationary and sealed in a vintage envelope with a charm. Poems are written by one of our WC members and are personalized for your recipient. When you order, you will fill out a form explaining who the recipient is and what you'd like in the poem.

**Orders can be sent to anyone in the district (any school), or if you have a delivery outside of the district, Pam's Flowers will be helping our club with deliveries (thanks, Pam's Flowers!!!).

This was our first combined event with the middle school group, and it was GREAT! We are so proud of everyone who shared tonight. A special shout out to those who came in costume! Great job, everyone!
