ππΎ "Loki" πΎπ¨
I completed this beautiful baby about a month ago. He was such an honor to paint. Even though this fur coat color is the hardest for me to paint, I still strive my hardest to do them. But it takes longer, it puts me a bit behind schedule, but thats okay for me because I am always learning and striving to be better. No better way then getting better is by doing.
Being an artist who takes commissions, sometimes I get an influx of orders. I had a lot of you put in orders of multiple pet portraits around the same time, I am no longer accepting anymore commissioned pieces at the moment. If you would like a custom piece booked for after the holidays, that is still open.
That being said, if you have a pet portrait order with me, It will be painted, a photo for your approval will be sent, sealed, and shipped by the Christmas cut off shipping date. During this time, I am extremely busy and I may be slower at seeing your messages or responding. You may see me painting pieces while working on portraits. Paint needs to dry, sometimes I need to think about a color to mix, or certain alignment. It all takes time and patience from both you and myself. Pet portraits take longer because they are yours or a family/friends beloved member of the family, I am paying attention to the smallest detail and incorporating that into my paintings. I want the end result to feel like that pet is actually portrayed in my paintings, even the soul in their eyes. So, even if you see me posting other paintings, it doesn't show the behind scenes; me working through a portrait, determining the colors, sketching, resketching, ordering specific stones, painting layers and layers.
I guess this is my reminder to please be patient with me. I am trying my very best and trying to get through the month that is the hardest for me.
Peace and love to all of my supporters, followers, friends, and family.
Xoxo,
