During this grim period of the Pandemic raging through the world, wrecking havoc, art definitely brought solace.I have been lucky to be part of many art groups and all of them are very positive optimistic groups giving hope and strength to its members.Every day we look forward to different creations posted on the sites and feel moments of pure joy!

I shall post art work done during last one year.

2020 went past with all its trials and tribulations.
Our life style underwent a drastic change especially in the professional and social front!
We did have more time at our disposal but the anxiety and worry of the world situation ate into it and we did wile away quite a bit of it! Yet have to grudge this terrible pandemic some of its merits! People forced to stay put did look inwards and come forth with a lot of positive ideas , creations, even a lot of humor to beat the blues and rise up above the chaos and misery!
Some of us with artististic tendencies also went into creative mode and produced quite a few art pieces.Groups got together and encouraged each other to reach higher realms in art.
I shall display the creations which gave me strength and solace during this period which is now seems to be extending into 2021 too! I must before displaying my art thank my dear and near ones, the dear friends and the dear art groups, I belong to, for giving me so much encouragement, love and positivity during this difficult time.

The skies are one of the most fascinating attractions of nature. When one looks up and feasts ones eyes on the beautiful roof of our world which is ever changing in its hues , its moods and its spectacular clouds the sense of happiness and the gladness to be alive is so acute! Sometimes I feel we dont look up at the sky often enough!
Photographing and painting skies is a source of pure happiness. I have found sky over the southern hemisphere to be more spectacular like in Southern Africa and Australia. It appears closer to us !

With all of us, in the cities, going through the daily hustle bustle ,breathing in the polluted air or putting up with the noise pollution of blaring horns , a scene like this painting gives so much respite!.We need to go into such retreats and get rejuvenated before plunging back into the city life ! This is just a reminder, there are still such paradise existing!
