Expanding on our world-famous Last Ride coffin, we recently released our newest simulated ride experience: The Double Wide Last Ride Coffin, which debuted at Transworld’s Halloween & Attractions Show in March 2017.
Now you can experience your “Last Ride” with a friend. (This double wide coffin will also accommodate larger guests.) This coffin ride experience, exclusively by Haunted Enterprises, creates the illusion of actually being buried in the ground alive! As you enter the casket and lie down, the lid closes and the smell of roses embraces you. Once the lid is closed, the fear of the dark enclosure instantly consumes you. Next, you hear the voices, and feel the motions, of two gravediggers putting you into a hearse. The storyline continues with a wild road trip in a speeding hearse, as you smell the leaking exhaust pipe. You are headed to the grave they have already dug for you. You are then lowered into the ground, and you hear and smell the dirt being shoveled onto your coffin. After a short pause, a wild jerking motion signals that the demons are coming to take your soul, as the smell of rotting corpses engulfs you.
During this chilling “ride” one experiences four distinct scents: roses, exhaust, dirt, and the lingering odor of rotting corpses. There are air ticklers, vibrations, and, of course, the rapid pneumatic motion of the entire coffin. One of the coolest aspects is that everyone can see the "victims’" reactions with the infrared camera mounted inside the coffin
This ride is designed to make money at theme parks, attractions, concerts, haunts and fairs, as well for private parties.
From amusement parks to home haunts, it is the center of attention. It is made from solid oak with pine trim by our in-house wood maker.
