LVGSA and MGSA Introduce Production-Based Tiered Entry Pricing
New structure makes global spirits competition entry more affordable for producers of every size
LAS VEGAS & MIAMI — June 8, 2026 —
The Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards and Miami Global Spirit Awards today announced a pioneering production-based tiered entry pricing program designed to make participation more accessible for spirits producers at every stage of growth.
At a time when many spirits brands are facing rising costs, tighter distribution channels, and increased pressure to prove market value, LVGSA and MGSA have created a pricing model that reflects the realities of today’s spirits industry.
The three pricing tiers are:
Nano/Micro Distillers, less than 75,000 bottles annually
Craft Distillers, 75,001 to 200,000 bottles annually; and
Macro Distillers, more than 200,000 bottles annually.
Qualifying nano, micro, and craft distillers may receive a 30% to 40% reduction in entry pricing compared with standard macro-producer rates.
“The spirits industry is under real pressure, and entry fees should not prevent a great small producer from being evaluated on a global stage,” said Eddie Rivkin, Founder & CEO of LVGSA and MGSA. “This program reflects a simple belief: exceptional spirits deserve access to meaningful recognition, whether they come from a small family-run distillery or one of the largest producers in the world.”
The program is especially important for new and emerging brands. For smaller producers, competition success can help build visibility, credibility, trade interest, consumer trust, and a stronger path to market.
“For many small brands, the right recognition can create real momentum,” Rivkin added. “A respected medal can help open doors with distributors, retailers, restaurants, bars, investors, and consumers.”
LVGSA and MGSA are also among the only spirits competitions offering select winners the opportunity to be considered for distribution in Nevada, Florida, Texas, and additional markets, connecting competition success with potential commercial growth.
