Had my first surgery ever this past week and it was such an experience! I fractured my left femoral neck over a freak accident and was in the OR 2 days later. As painful and scary as the whole ordeal was, I was so glad for the extremely kind nurses and the private hospital room. The surgical team made sure I was comfortable and in the know about everything, and they also delivered me delicious food hehe. Never imagined my first hospital stay to be like that but I think the worst parts of it were the IV catheter and the nerve block they gave my leg. Thankful for KP, family, friends, and cheers to months of recovery, PT, and learning how to walk again 😌 PS don’t swipe to the last 2 slides if you don’t wanna see the incision and bruising!
