Markiewitz Audioworks: An Audio Theatre Company Markiewitz Audioworks is an audio theatre company that produces full-cast audio dramatizations of classic literature.

Markiewitz Audioworks was founded in 2021 by Jason Markiewitz and focuses on bringing a unique perspective to classic works of fiction. Beginning with 5 works of Edgar Allan Poe, future productions will include authors Jules Verne, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Charles Dickens. Using original music, high-quality effects, re-imagined scripts, professional graphic art, and by hiring local actors for the cast, Markiewitz Audioworks is working to craft exceptional dramatizations while supporting Sacramento Theatre in its own unique way.

It's August, so you know what that means...at least if you're an audio drama creator you know...it's time to start cracking on our Christmas production! We have been so blessed to have worked with truly gifted voice actors, musicians, and artists over the past 5 years and are excited for our 2026 offering! We have contacted some of our voice actors for their assistance, and an official announcement will be coming out in the next few weeks.
