On March 21, 2020 when my isolation from COVID-19 began, I started painting with my daughter Emma. We painted at all hours of the day. I painted so much I bought an art table, too big for my space, and converted my entire family room to an art studio. I then realized the horrible lighting and the noisy neighborhood where inhibitors to my artwork. So I moved!!! Only 2 miles from my previous home, and still in Newport Beach, I found a home where my new studio could facilitate my new career. I am officially an artist!! As I say those words out loud, tears of joy fill my eyes. It has been a life long passion and journey, that both a lack of confidence, and raising kids as a single parent was never realized.

Two galleries and three design studios have agreed to represent my work. I have been working exclusively with watercolors inspired by the beach landscapes surrounding me. Oils will be on the way as I design my studio evolves.

I am grateful for my daughter Emma Coulthard , Kai Curtis, Holly Wells, Dana Fitzgerld, and my loving parents who inspired my to keep painting. After teaching art, running an art gallery and designing ads, it’s finally my turn to create.
