EDIT: This painting was specifically done for my son, Luke Crawford who is an avid fisherman and always has been.

I did a rainbow trout today. I have posted pictures from start to finish. Let me know what you think, I’d love to see some comments. This was new to me , and if you zoom in you can actually see the scales on the fish.

I worked on a black cat named “Tobias.” I have included some videos and pictures so you can see how she ( yes, it is a girl) was done. I used pastels & Pollychromos (oil pencils) on Pastelmat . I hadn’t taken a picture of the finished product prior to matting and framing, so the last picture is not as crisp. This little girl has crossed the rainbow bridge and is going to one of my husbands colleagues . Larry Johnson

Finished!!! It just needs to be matted and framed. If you zoom into the eye, you will see a landscape that I put in.
