CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: GIOVANNI SALZANO

Good gentles, lend thine ears and cast thine eyes toward a figure oft seen, yet seldom truly known...

For these seven years past, Giovanni Salzano hath wandered the lanes and pathways of fair Larkspurshire, though his tale in these parts began a year earlier still. Finding the Shire much to his liking during the summer season, he made his presence known amongst the villagers. Yet it was not only the folk of the Realm who took notice...

His Majesty himself did mark the mercenary's talents, and ere long, Salzano's more discreet services were called upon to help ensure the safety and security of the Royal Family during their yearly visit. Thus began a partnership forged in duty and necessity.

From that day unto this, Giovanni hath remained a steadfast guardian of Festival Day, watching from the shadows where others dare not tread. Though his countenance be oft stern and his heart cold as winter steel, those fortunate enough to witness one of his rare smiles may also find him serving as Larkspurshire's unofficial "Stocks Quality Control Technician."

What future awaits such a man? For a mercenary, the morrow is much like fortune itself...
