We have merged with ATR Aquatics Inc. and plan to be open for live stock selection on May 12th at 9425 Ulmerton Rd. Largo, FL 33771

ATR Aquatics offers full service Aquarium Maintenance , Custom built Aquariums and Stands as well as providing clients with aquarium moves, installs, and tear downs. In addition ATR Aquatics will have fresh & saltwater fish, coral, and plants to select for your aquariums.
Thank you for your patience with this transition. Due to the pandemic and the economic hardships we all are facing we are unable to operate at the East Bay Location therefore merging with ATR Aquatics. A Tropical Reef started on a shoe string budget and has grown into a passionate and thriving business run by a Father and Son team. ATR is centrally located in Pinellas County with easy access to US 19 and the 275 for surrounding counties to visit. ATR will be launching an online WYSIWYG site and a seperate shipping warehouse that will allow A Tropical Reef to share it's passion with the world!

We specialize in Freshwater and Saltwater Aquaculture and have an extensive plant, coral, and natural scaring around! Come in and check us out.

We also plan to expand our charities to give back to community . We will make a pointed effort to educate and do our part to save and conserve our reef and waters!

Hello! I’m in the beginning stages of establishing a peaceful community tank... So far, I have the following: 2 plecos, 2 angels, 2 rainbow sharks, 2 albino sharks, 2 snails, 2 tetras and 3 red barbs (male) This afternoon I noticed one of my albinos had a gash in his nose... not sure what in the world would’ve happened to him. They both hang out in the plants all day, no one seems to chase one another, they haven’t seemed stressed... I don’t think I have any aggressors in here... maybe the rainbow sharks? I know they’re just territorial, but there’s plenty of room in there, and the albinos always keep to themselves... any thoughts??
