Broken Sink Update!

I had a little mishap at the start of August with my sink and we are now one step further to getting it fixed. We got the materials!

Next step is getting through part of this wall and putting the pieces together. I’m counting down the days to getting my sink back up and running.

Thank you Dr Ikes for your support! My students and I thank you 😊 ❤️

I’ve been having issue with solving my glue vessel dilemma. Regular glue bottles haven’t been working for me these past couple of years. Made the investment to get the little glue brush pots, cause they expensive, and yes I like them but there are some draw backs to them. Ordered as set of bingo daubers and they were not glue friendly at all. I saw these neon green roll on ones and had to try them out. Same concept as the bingo daubers, but better glue ex*****on. I gave them to my students without saying anything and I they reached for these more than any other options. Going to keep them around and see how they continue to develop in class. But so far it’s been my best find! Prang

Just me, the copier and the emotional damage from this very long week.

There’s something special about seeing beauty through a student’s eyes. 💕 This piece brought me so much joy this morning and reminded me how something as simple as art can brighten your whole day.

I hope you find a little beauty in your day today, too. And if this made you smile, share it with someone who could use a little joy. Have a beautiful day, friends! 🎨

The official winner hasn’t been announced, but I have a pretty good idea who won. Very well deserved. We tried our best, but it wasn’t our time for this one. I’m still very proud to have pulled off such a gigantic and jaw dropping build in 4 days. This isn’t the end of crazy builds. If you know me this is pretty normal around here. So onto the next adventure. I hope you join me.

This competition was a crazy journey. Too much to tell but I definitely will. Stay tuned to see the whole story.

In my defense… they said Build Bold. Now we wait to see if Doritos thinks it’s worth $250,000. 👀 🫠 🤞

Pretty sure this is exactly how they hung the Liberty Bell in 1753 😂 Okay… maybe not But creating anything worth making comes with a few failed attempts, questionable decisions, and a whole lot of “well, that didn’t work.” History isn’t made by getting it right the first time. It’s made by trying until you do 🔔 Doritos
