Luz & Derek’s wedding blog went live this weekend.

This was Penny’s first at-home wedding, and we were excited and so curious how everything would come together... even with all of the planning!!

And, the entire day was so much better than anyone could have anticipated!!

Their day was full of so many thoughtful details… floating flowers in their pool, and the cutest little bride pup who didn’t hesitate to let us know that we were in her territory!! She was adorable!! 🐶🤍

Grandpa + his girls = pure joy 🥹

Our Penny the Photo Bus captures the sweetest kind of photos that will only get more meaningful with time. They’re not just pictures... they’re family stories that you’ll be telling for years to come.

We absolutely loved seeing all the fun that the girls were having with their grandfather… AND the priceless memories that they were making together!!!!

And, we are 100% certain that we’ll never get over sweet moments like these!! 🥰

Hey friends! It’s been over a year since I properly introduced myself around here, and life looks a little different these days….
So, hi! I’m Sandi, the girl behind Penny the Photo Bus 👋🏻. If you’re new around here, here are nine(ish) random things about me…

1. My days start early, and with my favorite cup of black coffee. Always! ☕️

2. I have a soft spot for old things with great stories. 🚐 (Obviously… )

3. I make sure to get sunshine everyday, as well as lots and lots of movement!! ☀️ 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏋🏽‍♀️

4. My grandson has my heart! But he may have some competition when his little sister is born this Fall. (Our first grand daughter and we can’t wait!!). 💗

5. I’ve been married to John (Penny’s chauffeur) for 33 years!

6. In just two months, our youngest daughter gets married, and we’re officially going to be empty nesters!! (And, yes… we’ve already booked the trip, to celebrate!!).

7. I’m still a nurse… but only at summer camps now, and I also love running because it clears my head.

8. I’m the kind of person who reads ingredient labels before buying things.

9. Most days you’ll find me dreaming up adventures for our sweet vintage VW bus, Penny, who is exactly one year younger than my husband and me. ✌️

This was such an incredible wedding day at The LaBelle Group!

From the white chapel, that was tucked beneath the oak trees to their lively outdoor reception and, of course, our adorable VW Photo Booth Bus, Penny…

Here are just a few photos from one of the most fun and energetic weddings! Guests were climbing in and out of Penny all night, and everyone loved taking home photo strips as a little keepsake from this special wedding.

People always ask if Penny lives at our house. The answer is YES… absolutely! She really is part of our family.

And I have to admit... it always makes me smile when I see someone slow down, smile, and wave at her. ✌️👋🏻

She was bringing smiles long before she became a photo booth bus, and she’s still doing it today, and that makes me so happy!!!

One of our favorite weddings is finally on the blog today! 🤍

We had been anticipating this wedding for so long, and this day did not disappoint. In fact, it completely stole our hearts.

Penny looked so beautiful sitting on the lawn of Powell Crosley Estate, overlooking Sarasota Bay. And then, there was the sweetest father/daughter moment at the start of the ceremony… it was a day we’ll never forget.

That “just married” feeling... 💍

While the bride and groom are soaking in the biggest moment of their wedding day, Penny is getting ready for her big moment too! We love this part of the day, because we already know what’s about to happen.

We know that in just a few minutes, Penny will be filled with laughter, hugs, parents and grandparents, college roommates, kids making silly faces, and photo strips that will become keepsakes long after the wedding day is over!!

Will we ever get over moments like these? Probably not. And I truly hope that we never do. 🤍
