Well, it's sunny and kinda springy so let's embrace it!! Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources are hosting a Boater Education Course at the Mercer County Cooperative Extension Service on Saturday, March 14 from 9am-2pm. You can sign up at their website link below.

"Regulation requires anyone from the ages of 12 to 17, who wishes to operate a motorboat with a motor of greater than 10 horsepower by their self, to have completed and passed the Boating Education Course. The certificate must be carried on person while operating the vessel. For adults who receive the certificate, it may lower the cost of their boat insurance at most insurance companies. Participants must be at least (12) years of age to take this course."

Marina ramp is closed due to ice and snow. It will be closed at least until Wednesday. We will update if anything changes.

🚨: Bad News... The NWS reports ice accumulation expectations have increased. If you're in RED, be prepared for a dangerous icing event. This is also the area where power outages are most likely.
